    • The anatomy & physiology of the respiratory system

    • The energetic effects of pranayama on the panchamaya kosha system.

    • The mental and emotional benefits and contraindications pranayama carries

    • Learn over 20 techniques for sharing this sacred practice with your students safely and effectively.

    Our live lesson examines

    The embodiment of the practices we teach

    as we explore and discuss how these practices feel in our own bodies, each unique and different.

    Not all pranayama is for everyone

    We will also explore the concept that pranayama is not just breathing but rather a deeper sense of energetic awareness and control

  • Upon Completion / sharing

    With guidance and community discussions led by our faculty, each student will submit a led-practice for feedback

    to receive support and grow as teachers

    This support continues as long as you need with options to schedule a live one-on-one session with our lead trainer if desired for further guidance.

Course structure

This is a hybrid virtual event designed for you to learn at your own pace. Attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to access the materials and a link to join the live weekend experience.

Live classes will be recorded, and these recordings can be requested on a case-by-case basis by email. Yoga Alliance requires a minimum number of contact hours attended live with faculty for CEU credit.
